Alix Hatfield's High Tide

The StarCityGames.com Legacy Open in Edison, New Jersey saw the largest field ever for a Legacy Open. Alix Hatfield, a renowned Legacy player, managed to take the top slot using a powerful High Tide build of his own creation. The deck is newly playable after the unbanning of Time Spiral and is very similar to the original High Tide decks of the late 1990s. It uses High Tide to juice up the amount of mana its lands make, then uses untap effects like Time Spiral and Candelabra of Tawnos to generate tons of mana with said lands. The last spell of the game is usually a lethal "Draw X" that forces the opponent to draw more cards than are in his or her library.
