Ron O'Hara's Lightmine Control

White-Blue Control stretches far back into the very beginnings of the game as an archetype, and modern deck builders still rely on its control beginnings to win today. Take Ron O'Hara's recent Top 8 deck from the Pro Tour Qualifier in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He has a Plan A that involves attacking his opponent with Consecrated Sphinx, but there's a solid Plan B that revolves around Jace's Erasure and Blue Sun's Zenith. And check out Lightmine Field! It's the perfect enchantment to stop attacks from the pesky Deceiver Exarch / Splinter Twin combo as well as any beatdown headed at you.
