Mike Long's Pros Bloom

The first time the Pro Tour came to Paris, France was during the 1996-1997 season. That event's champion? Mike Long, playing one of the games most famous combo decks: Pros Bloom. The deck worked by combining Squandered Resources and Natural Balance to generate extra mana in order to cast Prosperity. Then the combo player could turn cards in their hand into mana, then use the mana to draw more cards with Prosperity and Infernal Contract. Eventually, a large number of cards would be tossed to fuel a lethal Drain Life. The Pro Tour returns to Paris this weekend as Magic Weekend Paris kicks off the 2011 Pro Tour season!
