James Zornes's Sixty-Six Special

James Zornes, better known as JWay on Magic Online, lit the Extended world up by consistently doing well with a sixty-six-card version of the Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle deck. Players around the web were shocked to find themselves losing to a deck with more than the industry standard sixty cards; after all, conventional wisdom has long held that playing the fewest number of cards allowable means you're more likely to draw the ones that are best in any given situation. But that hasn't stopped James, who has moved from winning online to winning in the real world with a Day 2 performance at Grand Prix Atlanta. Read more on the event here.
