Daniel Brubaker's Vampires

With Jace, the Mind Sculptor and Stoneforge Mystic gone from the world of Standard, it's up to deckbuilders to reshape the format. One such tinkerer up to the challenge is Daniel Brubaker. Daniel played this version of black-red Vampires at a recent Pro Tour Qualifier for Philadelphia in Boise, Idaho. Powerful Vampires like Bloodghast and Gatekeeper of Malakir are forced through the red zone by Hero of Oxid Ridge or Kalastria Highborn. Daniel even played Manic Vandal in the main deck as an additional means of dealing with artifacts!
