Magic Online Dragons of Tarkir Championship Winners
Even without wings and the ability to breathe fire, over 600 competitors clawed their way through the Dragons of Tarkir Championship Qualifiers to try to make it into the Finals.
The final matches came down to SaucyPizza versus littledarwin (who also made Top 8 in the Standard Championship Finals) in the Dragons of Tarkir Limited Championship Finals, and Fastfake and Matter_Mixer in the Dragons of Tarkir Standard Championship Finals. The Holiday Cube is Available July 8
Randy Buehler is a longtime Magic player, a friend of the Vintage format, co-host of the Standard Super League, and a lover of Magic Online Cubes everywhere.

Certain Magic Online Updates Delayed
Last week, we announced that we'd be rolling out a Collection Performance Upgrade for Magic Online with the Wednesday, July 8, downtime. Unfortunately, we've recently discovered that this upgrade needs a little more work before it can launch at a level of quality that the Magic Online team is happy with.
Additionally, we planned to implement the Commander rule commonly referred to as the “tuck rule” with the Magic Origins release with the July 22 downtime. This rule, which allows a player to put his or her commander in the command zone if it would go the library or hand, is proving more difficult than originally expected to implement. Because of this, the Commander change will not go live at that time.
We'll update players with a new deployment dates for these items as soon as we have them.
Modern Masters 2015 Edition Leaves Magic Online July 8
All Modern Masters 2015 Edition are only around until the Wednesday, July 8, downtime. If you want to play some more Modern Masters 2015 Edition or buy packs from the Magic Online Store, your time's running out!

Modern Festival Constructed Prize Changes End July 8
The changes to Constructed events that were part of Modern Masters 2015 Edition Release events and the Modern Festival are being reversed during the Wednesday, July 8, downtime. In addition to the Modern 3-2-1-1 Queue being replaced by the Modern 5-3-2-2 Queue, the following prize and event entry changes will occur:

Upcoming Wizards Account System Maintenance for Wednesday, July 15
The Wizards Account System will be undergoing maintenance on Wednesday, July 15, from 7:00 p.m. Pacific (UTC-7) through Thursday, July 16 7:00 a.m. Pacific. Customers will be able to file for reimbursement and submit bug reports during this time, but responses will be delayed.
Downtime for July 8, 2015
- All tournaments will close Wednesday, July 8, at 5:00 a.m. Pacific (12:00 UTC)
- Store and trade activity will be suspended at approximately 7:45 a.m. Pacific (14:45 UTC)
- The system will be down from 8:00 a.m. Pacific (15:00 UTC) until 12:00 p.m. Pacific (19:00 UTC)
