Pro Club Levels for Guilds of Ravnica Cycle

Joining the Pro Players Club

The Pro Tour Players Club is comprised of players who have earned Professional Points at applicable Magic: The Gathering tournaments. Magic: The Gathering tournaments that award Professional Points take place within pre-determined and pre-announced periods of time, referred to as Pro Tour Players Club cycles. Each cycle is referred to by a name that aligns with the latest Standard Constructed-legal Magic: The Gathering card set that releases within its time frame, and is referred to by that name in corresponding policies, fact sheets, and event information. Each named Pro Tour Players Club cycle encompasses the following date ranges:

Ixalan Cycle: July 31, 2017 – November 12, 2017

Rivals of Ixalan Cycle: November 13, 2017 – February 25, 2018

Dominaria Cycle: February 26, 2018 – June 10, 2018

Core 2019 Cycle: June 11, 2018 – September 16, 2018

Guilds of Ravnica Cycle*: September 17, 2018 – December 9, 2018

Ravnica Allegiance Cycle*: December 10, 2018 – March 24, 2019

Note: Cycle names marked with an asterisk (*) are not the final names. The names for these cycles will be finalized once their associated Standard-legal card set names are made public.

Membership is open to any DCI member who earned a minimum of 10 Professional Points in the four most recent Pro Tour Players Club cycles. To join, the player must complete a Consent and Waiver Agreement for the event at which they earned a Pro Point.

How Professional Points are Awarded

Professional Points are officially awarded on the final day of applicable tournaments after the final standings have been determined by Wizards. Only players who actually compete in the applicable tournaments will receive Professional Points for those events. Tournaments, information about Professional Points Seasons, and the number of Professional Points awarded to players from those tournaments can be found in the Magic: The Gathering Premier Event Invitation Policy.

A player’s Professional Points total is determined by the twelve (12) finishes across all Magic: The Gathering tournaments that awarded the largest number of Professional Points to that player across the four most recent Pro Tour Players Club cycles. Any other finishes will still count as Professional Points earned for the purposes of lifetime Professional Points on the Planeswalker Points site, and in the event they become one of the twelve finishes should previous Professional Points earned fall outside of the four most recent Pro Tour Players Club cycles in which a player earned them.

Eligibility

Individuals that are not eligible to participate in DCI-sanctioned tournaments for any reason are not eligible to participate in the Pro Players Club. Members under DCI-suspension are not eligible for Pro Tour Players Club benefits.

Attaining Levels of Membership

At the end of each Pro Tour Players Club cycle, if a player has reached the required number of Professional Points, they are promoted to the applicable Club Level for the entirety of the Pro Tour Players Club cycle following the one that just ended.

The minimum number of Professional Points required in the Pro Tour Players Club, as of September 17, 2018, to be promoted to the applicable level are:

Bronze level: 10 Professional Points

Silver level: 22 Professional Points

Gold Level: 37 Professional Points

Platinum level: 52 Professional Points

The winner of each Pro Tour and World Championship is immediately advanced to Platinum level for the remainder of the Pro Tour Players Club cycle in which that player won the event, and the next four full Pro Tour Players Club cycles.

The winner of the Magic Online Championship is immediately advanced to Platinum level for the remainder of the Pro Tour Players Club cycle in which that player won the event, and the next four full Pro Tour Players Club cycles.

The Rookie of the Year for a Professional Season is advanced to Gold level for the remainder of the Pro Tour Players Club cycle in which that player won the title, and the next four full Pro Tour Players Club cycles.

Losing Membership Status

At the conclusion of each Pro Tour Players Club cycle, Pro Tour Players Club membership will expire for all members who did not earn at least 10 Professional Points during the last four Pro Tour Players Club cycles. Pro Tour Players Club membership will terminate for any member who becomes ineligible for DCI membership during a Pro Tour Players Club cycle for any reason.
