Pauper never fails to deliver an adorable-looking decklist, typically featuring cards that weren't quite strong enough to see play during their tenure in Standard. In this case, some of those cards end up being more powerful once certain synergies are available.
Nylea's Presence is becoming a staple of this column. Today, it combines with Wild Nacatl, Matca Rioters, and Tribal Flames to great results. In addition, it makes a great card to return with Kor Skyfishers. If that's not enough card advantage for you, we also have Abundant Growth and Brainstorm plus Squadron Hawk!
Rancor lets your 5/5 Rioters trample over smaller creatures and Staggershock either deals the final damage or kills two Delver of Secrets. For an additional finisher, you could use Might of Alara, but if you don't draw Nylea's Presence it might be difficult to always have it powered up.
If you're looking for something fun and different in Pauper, give Wild Nacatl a shot.
