Aggressive green-white decks seemed to be all over the place at Grand Prix San Diego two weekends ago. A version of this deck was piloted by Brian Kibler at Pro Tour Origins and he did very well with it, but an average Draft performance caused him to fly under the radar and his deck received practically no attention. Later that week when Kibler tweeted "If you want to win #GPSD, play my deck," people listened. Green-white was wildly popular throughout the event and was played by many top pros. Although this deck was played by many, Loren Eakin was the player who managed to finish in the Top 8 of the Grand Prix.

Green-White Megamorph is a fairly straight-forward deck. It's similar to most other aggressive green-white decks that we've seen in the past, but what gives this deck the edge over other green-white decks is the amount of card advantage that it can achieve. Typical green-white decks are great in the early game, but struggle when the game starts to go long and the opponent stabilizes. This deck is great in all stages of the game, and it's actually surprising how much late game staying power it has.

This deck is not by any means fast. Most of your creatures are morphs, which aren't very efficient as 2/2s for three. However, this deck is capable of curving out with a fast draw. Fleecemane Lion into Deathmist Raptor into Boon Satyr is a draw that most decks will have a hard time dealing with. If you don't get your fast draw, even your slowest draw can grind your opponent out. Over half of the spells in the deck provide card advantage in some way, whether it's Den Protector regrowing a card for you or Dromoka's Command gaining you value off of two modes.
