Purphoros, God of the Forge used to be a powerhouse in Standard, but hasn't really seen much play since the Mono-Red Devotion cards rotated out of Standard last year. Giorno211 from Magic Online used Purphoros in a tokens list that utilizes the card's damage-dealing ability. He'll never be a creature in this deck, but a four-mana indestructible enchantment that can deal a large amount of damage is very strong in a deck that can pump out multiple creatures every turn.

This deck plays thirteen cards that are capable of producing multiple creatures. Some of these cards are simple token-producing spells such as Hordeling Outburst and Secure the Wastes, but others provide added utility, such as Elspeth, Sun's Champion.

Outpost Siege is usually used in red decks to provide card advantage, but if you are playing a token strategy, naming "Dragons" can be game-ending. When all of your creatures are capable of dealing damage when they die, they suddenly become much harder to block, as they are more likely to trade with bigger creatures. Even dealing one point of damage to your opponent every time one of your creatures leaves the battlefield really adds up over time.

One thing that is really cool about this deck is that while it looks like a token deck, it is actually an enchantment deck. The only reward for playing enchantments is Sigil of the Empty Throne, but if you manage to untap with one in play, it's likely game over. Every removal spell in this deck is in enchantment form. Nyx-Fleece Ram is an enchantment in disguise, and even Purphoros himself is an enchantment.

While token strategies usually suffer against bigger creatures or mass removal, this deck has a surprising amount of reach. It looks super fun to play and is very different from what most people are playing in Standard right now.
