I know not everyone will agree Sultai Delver is the strongest deck in Legacy, but I'm pretty sure not many will argue with it as "one of" the strongest decks.

Delver of Secrets is the most aggressive one-mana creature card printed. Think of it as a Wild Nacatl that somehow got flying simply by giving up a few points of toughness. Of course, the deck needs a certain number of instants or sorceries, but this is not a problem in Legacy, where blue decks have no lack of cheap cantrips,

Delver of Secrets's requirements are so easy to fulfill, which results in a variety of color combinations: The blue-red deck, loaded with burn spells. The Temur deck, adding powerful creatures. The almighty Jeskai deck. Finally, the Sultai Delver deck, which I will talk about today.

The deck's main color is blue. Green is the color of Tarmogoyf. Black brings the refueling Dark Confidant, the convenient removal spell Abrupt Decay, and Deathrite Shaman.

The black discard spells are in the sideboard. Main-board, the deck plays as a regular Delver deck and adds disruption in the combo matchups after sideboard. I like the plan of playing more disruption rather than adding counterspells. This way, you can see what your opponent's up to while removing disruption or a key card, with a counterspell in hand to seal up the game.

It's a simple but effective game plan—my favorite.
