DailyMTG is catching you up on some of the best articles from the past year while our whole crew enjoys the holidays. We’re replaying some of our authors' most popular works and some of your favorites December 15–26, but don’t be surprised if we have a special present or two for you somewhere during the holidays…

But in the meantime, enjoy the best of 2014. Happy Holidays!

Prowess isn't the only ability from Khans of Tarkir that's making a splash in Legacy. With graveyards stuffed full of spells and fetch lands, delve is also changing the landscape of the format.

In a deck that features fetch lands, cheap draw spells, hand destruction, and removal, it's entirely feasible to zero out the colorless mana portion of pretty much any spell. And the card that helps perfectly enable that ideal scenario for Sultai is Treasure Cruise.

Not only is the color commitment for Treasure Cruise low, needing only one blue mana, it's one of the few cards that can rightfully say it compares favorably with the original legendary draw spell, Ancestral Recall. And, unlike Ancestral Vision, it's always castable.

Of course, one of the distinguishing features of Legacy is that each card is incredibly strong, but it's still a nice bonus when Jace, the Mind Sculptor or Tarmogoyf comes with an extra two cards.
