The Daily Magic Update is a roundup of everything Magic you should know on November 15, 2016. Today's Update is brought to you by Imperial Seal!

Today's Must

  1. Experience Magic Your Way | ChannelFireball | Neal Oliver

Preach it, Neal. Too many people get lost in the notion that they have to play and experience Magic like everyone else does. That's just not true. It's a game; do what's fun. Whether that's Spiking a tournament, playing at home with friends, an 8-hour session of Emperor Commander, or cosplaying as Ajani at a Grand Prix—you do you.

After That, Read, Watch, or Listen to These

  1. Video: B/R Aggro in Standard | | Gerry Thompson

Gerry wants to Bomat Courier some people—so he does. On video. For you. The people. Because he loves you. And Bomat Courier. Watch Gerry roast some people and enjoy.

  1. Grixis Control Deck Guide | ChannelFireball | Corey Burkhart

Once a titan of Modern, Grixis Control decks have fallen out of favor—except with Corey Burkhart, who recently took second at a Modern Grand Prix with his pet deck. Learn the ways of the master as he lays out the deck, the strategies, and how he's actually a robot sent from the future to play Grixis in Modern, but only that.

  1. Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis – Stalwart Unity C16 Deck Tech | The Command Zone | Jimmy Wong and Josh Lee Kwai

The Command Zone continues their series of deck techs on the new Commander (2016 Edition) decks with everyone's favorite four-color group hug commander, Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis. Also the only one, but still, favorite.

  1. Changing Times - Vial Smasher, the Fierce | Seibenlore

Time travel and Commander (2016 Edition) outline this lore review from Seiben on the new Commander with partner, Vial Smasher, the Fierce. Many, many vials were harmed in the making of this video.

Streaming Today

Neal Oliver will be streaming all day ladies and gentlemen. Check when you're ready. Sounds like Neal will be there, whenever that is.

Honestly, I could probably point out Kenji's stream every day. Can't stop; won't stop.

What People Are Talking About

This is the latest Judge Promo, previewed for judges at the Regional Coordinator conference. Here it is as well as an image:

We're nearing the World Magic Cup, and the man formerly known as the MTG Stat Guy is tweeting out some, well, stats. Check out his feed for more.

Deck of the Day

  1. Temur Energy

The aptly named Simic_Observer went 5-0 with this Temur Energy deck that goes a bit above and beyond what most other energy decks are trying to do.

They're not trying to Electrostatic Pummeler anyone, and there are precisely zero pump spells, slowing the deck down significantly. But, in return, the deck gets a ton of resilience and more late game mojo. Confiscation Coup and Jace, Unraveler of Secrets see to the long game, and Whirler Virtuoso makes sure you have something to do with all of that energy that doesn't require attacking to matter.

The deck also grabs a bunch of sideboard cards that occasionally came with the deck in the past as well—since splashing was so easy in an Aether Hub/Attune with Aether/Servant of the Conduit deck—including Negate, Spell Shrivel, and Ceremonious Rejection.

It's a neat evolution of the Red-Green Energy Deck, and one worth looking at for the upcoming Standard Showdown.
