This past weekend, the second round of WMCQs took place around the world. Spots on all countries' World Magic Cup teams were won, and now there is only one spot for each country left up for grabs. If you would like to earn one of these spots, check out the WMCQ schedule and make plans to attend your country's final WMCQ for the year!

In England, Francesco Giorgio won his way onto the English World Magic Cup team. His deck of choice was Mono-Blue Devotion, which has been one of the strongest decks in Standard since its breakout performance back at Pro Tour Theros. As this Standard season winds down, Mono-Blue Devotion remains a threat to win any tournament with the power of Thassa, God of the Sea and Master of Waves. Looking ahead, will Khans of Tarkir have enough devotion enablers to replace cards such as Frostburn Weird and Nightveil Specter? Or will Blue Devotion fail to maintain the success it has had this year?
