Magic 2014 —Duels of the Planeswalkers is our latest version of the digital game in the Magic: The Gathering franchise. Building on the success of the original Duels of the Planeswalkers, Magic 2012 and Magic 2013, Magic 2014 —Duels of the Planeswalkers will introduce a new sealed play game mode, Planeswalker opponents, decks, puzzle challenges, and other exciting new features on Xbox LIVE® Arcade, PC/Steam®, PlayStation® Network, iPad® and for the first time on Android™ tablet. Magic 2014 – Duels of the Planeswalkers is the best way to introduce new players to Magic.

A. Magic 2014 —Duels of the Planeswalkers features a full single-player campaign game vs. AI opponents. Magic 2014 also offers online multiplayer play with Two-Headed Giant; three- and four-player free-for-all play; and new sealed play mode, where players build decks from randomized booster packs.*

A. Magic 2014 —Duels of the Planeswalkers does not support trading; you can unlock all the cards in the game by simply playing or through purchasing deck unlocks.
Q. What are the multiplayer free-for-all rules?
A. Magic 2014 —Duels of the Planeswalkers features free-for-all play, meaning the last player remaining wins. You can choose to play ranked games against random opponents or unranked games against your friends.
Q. How many players can play in a multiplayer game?
A. For Xbox, PSN, and Steam versions, up to four players can play online and up to four players can play in Two-Headed Giant or free-for-all games. The iPad and Android tablet versions support two-player matches with human players or you can play with three AI partners.

A. Magic 2014 —Duels of the Planeswalkers includes a tutorial where you learn while you play, in-game hints, and even an in-game rulebook and glossary.
Q. Can I create new decks or modify my deck?
A. Magic 2014 allows players to customize their decks by removing cards from their original pool and adding in cards they have unlocked through game play. Land cards are added automatically by the AI. Magic 2014 introduces the sealed play game mode, which for the first time allows players to open boosters and build decks for play in a sealed play campaign against the AI and in PVP.
Q. What cards are featured in the game?
A. Magic 2014 features select cards from throughout the history of Magic: The Gathering up through the Magic 2014 Core Set .
Q. Are there achievements or trophies and, if so, what type?
A. There are thirty achievements to be earned in the base game for XBLA and Steam®, fifteen trophies for PSN, and thirty achievements on iPad. Each achievement/trophy is earned in a different way, including ranked match wins and meeting unique victory conditions. The thirty achievements on Xbox LIVE® are worth a total of 400 Gamerscore. The thirty achievements on iPad are worth a total of 400 points. The fifteen trophies on PSN are worth up to 315 points.
Q. Is Magic 2014 challenging for the experienced players?
A. Magic 2014 has an advanced AI that can be adjusted to provide challenging game play for even skilled Magic: The Gathering players. Also, Magic 2014 has ranked head-to-head competitive play on the XBLA, PSN, iPad, and Steam platforms.
Q. There's a promotional six-card booster pack available for purchasing Magic 2014 on XBLA, PSN, iPad, Android, or Steam®. How do I determine if I'm eligible? Where can I get it?

Q. What cards are available through this promotion?
A. There are three alternate-art cards available: Scavenging Ooze (iPad, Android, PC), Bonescythe Sliver (Xbox), and Ogre Battledriver (PSN), each of which comes in a different six-Card Booster Pack.

Q. Are there titles, achievements or trophies available with the expansion and, if so, what type?
A: There are eight earnable achievements in the Magic 2014 Expansion for Xbox LIVE® Arcade, PC/Steam®, and iPad®. Seven trophies will be available for PlayStation® Network. Each achievement or trophy is earned in a different way, including ranked match wins and meeting unique victory conditions.
The eight achievements available for Xbox LIVE® Arcade are worth a total of 100 Gamerscore. The eight achievements on iPad® are worth a total of 100 points. The seven trophies on PlayStation® Network are worth up to 180 points. The Expansion will also feature five new Titles that will be available across all platforms.
Q. Will the Magic 2014 Expansion include new decks? How many?
A. Yes, the Magic 2014 Expansion will include five new decks:
Dodge and Burn, a blue-red spell-based 'Counterburn' deck that is associated with Dack Fayden
Lords of Darkness, a mono-black deck full of Demons and other infernal creatures
Hall of Champions, a white-green-blue deck that includes plenty of creatures with the exalted mechanic associated with Elspeth
Sylvan Might, a mono-green Elf deck that is associated with Nissa
Sword of the Saumrai, a red-white deck full of Kamigawa Samurai
Q. Will Sealed play receive more potential cards?
A. The Magic 2014 Expansion does not contain any additional content for the Sealed Play game mode.
Q. Will the Magic 2014 Expansion give us extra Sealed slots?
A. The Magic 2014 Expansion will not include additional Sealed slots.
Q. Will the Expansion add online multiplayer to the Android tablet version of the game?
A. Just like the base game, the Magic 2014 Expansion on Android tablet will feature Ad Hoc multiplayer.
