In 10th Anniversary Tribute, New Magic: The Gathering Core Set Will Feature Cards From Every Magic Set Ever Introduced

Wizards of the Coast has selected one card from every Magic set beginning with the originally released Magic: The Gathering base set, called Alpha
In all, 350 cards will be reprised in the new core set. Some of the cards will be those nominated by fans in last summer’s “Selecting Eighth Edition” promotion.
Coinciding with today’s announcement, Wizards of the Coast will launch the “Unveiling Eighth Edition” promotion on www.magicthegathering.com. Each day between June 9 and June 27 Wizards will reveal a selection of Eighth Edition cards on magicthegathering.com. The set officially releases on July 28.
