日を改め、予選ラウンド 9 。ここでフィーチャーマッチに呼ばれたのは、初日を全勝で終えた藤田と石田である。
藤田が使用するのは、藤田剛史作成のゴブリンデッキで、対する石田は青黒のオリジナルチューンのリアニメイトデッキとなっている。
つい先週に行われた PT アムステルダムを準優勝で終えた藤田の勢いが勝るか、石田の底力が上回るか、注目の一戦である。
Game 1
先手石田。
早速《入念な研究/Careful Study》から《幻影のニショーバ/Phantom Nishoba》と《強迫/Duress》をディスカードし、続けて《死体発掘/Exhume》。
ゴブリンデッキを使用する藤田にとっては致命的でさえあるクリーチャーを、僅か 2 ターンで場に放つ事となった。
困った藤田。
落ち着いて《火花鍛冶/Sparksmith》、《ゴブリンの戦長/Goblin Warchief》と並べる。
そこへ再び石田は自身に《陰謀団式療法/Cabal Therapy》を撃ち、《幻影のニショーバ》と指定し、ディスカード。そのまま、《再活性/Reanimate》を以って、 2 匹目の《幻影のニショーバ》を展開することとなった。
「1 匹ならまだしもなぁ」と、藤田はつぶやき 1 本目を投了。

Game 2
先手は変わり、藤田の下へ。
《スカークの探鉱者/Skirk Prospector》を出し、ターンを終えると、返すターン、石田は《入念な研究》で《幻影のニショーバ》と《朽ちゆくインプ/Putrid Imp》をディスカード。
そのまま、先程のゲームと同じく《死体発掘》で、場に《幻影のニショーバ》を。
しかし藤田は《幻影のニショーバ》の攻撃を食らい、ダメージスタック後の《すさまじき激情/Blood Frenzy》によって除去する事に成功。
「リアニメイトデッキは1 度の釣りを回避すればなんとかなるはず」と、この隙にゴブリン軍団を並べ、《包囲攻撃の司令官/Siege-Gang Commander》を出し、次ターンには勝てるというところまで。しかし、ここで石田が《吸血の教示者》をキャスト。そこで石田が持ってきたのは《再活性》だった。
石田は続くメインステップに《入念な研究》で《怒りの天使アクローマ/Akroma, Angel of Wrath》を捨て、後にこれを《再活性》。この時点で石田のライフは残り 2 となり、《怒りの天使アクローマ》で攻撃を加えても、藤田の残りライフは 3 。
そこへ石田の必殺の 1 枚。
《エネルギー・フィールド/Energy Field》。
これによってなす術の無くなった藤田は投了を宣言した。
