準決勝: Darwin Kastle vs. Bob Maher

今大会がとうとう最後となってしまったマスターズ。
最後の戦いの場はここ横浜で行われ、レギュレーションはエクステンデットで行われる。
Kantle は長く使い込んだ The Rock をプレイし、対する Maher は桧垣貴生を思い出させるような青茶単である。
1 本目は、 Kantle がなんとか《破滅的な行為/Pernicious Deed》を張り、一度は Maher の場を一掃したのだが、Kastle 自身もマナクリーチャーを多く失い、残る 2 枚の土地では何も出来ず、Maher の《マスティコア/Masticore》に圧殺されてしまった。
そこら始まる 2 本目。
Game 2
先手 Kastle の《強迫/Duress》で Maher の《厳かなモノリス/Grim Monolith》を抜き去り、 3 ターン目に出してきた《金属細工師/Metalworker》を《悪魔の布告/Diabolic Edict》で除去と、 Maher に十分なマナを与えさせない。
だが、これだけ見事にゲームを進めているにもかかわらず、攻める手段を持たない Kastle は Maher に反撃の体制を整える時間を与えてしまい、結局 Maher が引き当てた《ミシュラのらせん/Mishra's Helix》でマナロックを食らって時間を稼がれ、マナアーティファクトが 1 枚ずつ場に展開されていく。
そしてとどめと《ファイレクシアの処理装置/Phyrexian Processor》をキャストし、抵抗空しく、 Kastle はミニオントークンの前に敗れ去った。
