The format gives each player the choice between 5 decks in desperate need of some fine-tuning. Run your own "deck clinic" and show the kiddies the best way to alter their deck.

Players will have a choice between 5 different contructed decks (created by EHteam). Particpants will be required to furnish their own cards. Players will be allowed to replace (on a 1-for-1 swap basis) up to 15 cards in the deck they choose to play with.

Each deck is 60 cards with a 15 card sideboard. No sideboarding between games will be allowed, but because each deck includes wishes the sideboard could come into play. Cards in the sideboard can be changed at half cost - (2 cards replaced in the sideboard count as 1 towards the total of 15).

All decks and replacement cards must be extended legal, with the exception of cards already in the decks. Some decks have cards that are illegal or banned in extended. Just because a deck contains one of these "illegal" cards DOES NOT allow players to add additional copies of that card.

All of the decks list a number of basic land to be included. These land may be of any type (Swamp, Island, Plain, Forest, or Mountain) without counting against your 15 card replacement limit. If basic lands are cut or added then this would count against your limit.

Also, some slots within the decks are up to the player to decide within a creature type. Choosing a creature to fill these "open" posisitions does not count against a players' 15 card total. Replacing one of these slots is fair game too. These choices must still be legal extended cards. A creature which shares any of the types required is legal (Example: A creature with type "Bird Soldier" can be used for either a bird or soldier).

The format will be best 2 out of 3 game matches (remember with no sideboarding allowed.)

This should be an easy format for those of you eager to "throw together" a quick deck, as it doesn't require a great deal of thinking to change out 15 cards. However, the very closed enviroment should afford those dedicated players ample oppurtunity to really play-test against the small field (only 5 possible deck types with alterations) and benefit from what they learn.
