Draft 1, Table 1: Lenny Collins

Right from the very first pack of the draft it seemed as though Collins had a plan. When Johnstons opened a Nomad Decoy, a Muscle Burst and an Aven Windreader Collins quickly snapped up the Muscle Burst after the first pick Decoy. In hindsight he would have been better off taking the Windreader with blue being the most powerful color throughout the 24 packs that were opened during the course of the draft. One notable thing that was missing from the draft were power cards, with the standout being a single Overrun. Over the course of the draft Collins slowly began to move into his second color red, to back up the large fatties and some removal he was drafting. The packs didn't always cooperate with his draft style and when the player to his left, randomly hated a Stalking Tiger in the reverse packs Collins was left to claim a Lithatog from a pack that promised him something a little more. Overall Collins was happy with the draft but said that he'd have to wait and see how his score ended up at the end of the three rounds before he could tell if it really was a good or bad deck.
