The Magic: The Gathering Grand Prix tournament series is an international circuit of large-scale Qualifier tournaments featuring cash prizes and multiple invitations to Pro Tour™ events.

Registration from 4:00 - 9:00 P.M.
Saturday, October 12:
Late registration from 8:00 - 9:00 A.M. Tournament begins at 9:15 A.M. The Top 64 players advance to competition on Sunday.
Sunday, October 13:
The Top 64 players begin play at 8:00 A.M. Finals will immediately follow.

The main tournament at Grand Prix - Copenhagen is open to Magic players of all ages. If the player who wins an invitation to Pro Tour – Chicago at Grand Prix - Copenhagen has already qualified for an invitation, the invitation shall be passed down to the next-best finisher. Previous qualification may occur through a Qualifier tournament, through performance at a professional tournament, or by being an invited DCITM player (valid on the date of the official rank announcement for the appropriate professional tournament).

Amateur Status
A player is considered to have amateur status if he or she has 0 lifetime pro points. If a player has ever been awarded any points from a Grand Prix, Pro Tour, or World Championship event, that player no longer has amateur status, may not participate in the Amateur Championship or Junior Super Series tournaments, and is not eligible for amateur awards at Grand Prix or other tournaments.

Tournament Format
The format for Grand Prix - Copenhagen is Limited. All DCI Extended rules and Magic Floor Rules will be enforced. Day 1 will be a Sealed Deck, and day 2 Rochester Draft.

Tournament Structure
The structure for Grand Prix - Copenhagen is modified Swiss (60-minute rounds, with the number of rounds determined by the number of participants). The Top 64 players will advance to competition on Sunday for prizes and invitations.

Grand Prix - Copenhagen features the standard main-tournament prize schedule, as well as a special Amateur Award schedule. All prizes are in U.S. dollars.

Public transport facilities

From the airport to the city
By plane : airport of Copenhagen. If you get out from the customs, follow straight ahead for about 50 metres. You will see the train ticket office.

Go out the door right next to you and take the train towards Copenhagen, which leaves about every 20 minutes.

The price is around 18 DKR. You can also buy a "yellow card" with 10 fares on it for 100 DKR. Each fare is valid for one hour of travel.
