2011 National Championships

Held each year, National Championships are the highest level competition for a particular country. In 2011, players from 69 countries will compete in Magic: The Gathering National Championships for the right to represent their countries at the 2011 World Championships held in San Francisco, USA on November 17-20, 2011.

National Championships are regulated by the Premier Event Invitation Policy. The latest version can be found in the Magic Document Center.

Closed Nationals Information:

  • All closed Nationals require an invitation to participate. Complete invitation criteria can be found in the Premier Event Invitation Policy (located in the Magic Document Center).
  • All closed Nationals have rating-based invitations. Those invitations are based on the ratings published on June, 2011. Those invitations will be officially awarded on June 1, 2011.
  • All closed Nationals award Pro Points to the top finishers. To view the points awarded, click here.

Open Nationals Information:

  • All citizens and residents of that country may participate.
