Before joining Magic Online as its digital product manager, Mike worked as a producer for Wizards's technology department, a product manager for organized play, and as an R&D lead developer. He has played Magic Online since it came out in 2002 and Magic since The Dark.
We're just two days away from the start of the Magic Online Born of the Gods Championship!
There will be two Born of the Gods champions, one for Limited and one for Standard. Events kick off on Wednesday, April 9, with Standard Championship Qualifiers that run through Tuesday, April 15. The Born of the Gods Standard Champion will be crowned after the Born of the Gods Standard Championship on Sunday, April 20.
Born of the Gods Limited Championship Qualifiers begin on Wednesday, April 16, and run through Tuesday, April 22. Then, on Sunday, April 27, the top players will compete for the title of Born of the Gods Limited Champion.
UPDATE! We added a participation prize for both Qualifier and Championship events. All players who participate in Standard or Limited Qualifier events will receive a regular promo version of Fated Conflagration. All players who participate in a Standard or Limited Championship events will receive a premium promo version of Fated Conflagration!
As we did with the Theros winners, we will celebrate our Born of the Gods champions with a winners' page featuring their winning decks and highlights from the matches following the last Championship event!
