At Grand Prix Madrid, eventual winner Ivo Grossholz began his Top 8 draft with a Huntmaster of the Fells and later picked up a Mayor of Avabruck for some undeniable Werewolf power. Ultimately, though, it was the relatively unassuming Fling that won him the tournament. On the other side of the Atlantic, Pro Tour Dark Ascension Top 8er Matt Costa steered the only Delver deck in the Grand Prix Baltimore Top 8 to ultimate victory with the help of a constant flow of information via Gitaxian Probe.
