Nearly 800 players showed up for their chance to become the Grand Prix–Kansas City champion, but when all the smoke had cleared only Tim Landale stood. He had had to beat a World Champion and former U.S. National Team member to do it too. Ultimately his Jund list, touching just enough blue to play a Sedraxis Specter, held on long enough to earn him the title and over $3,000 in prize money. You can read more about Tim's win in the Grand Prix–Kansas City coverage. Better yet, you can start playing Shards of Alara Limited right now on Magic Online!
