Grand Prix Las Vegas was the site for perhaps the most anticipated draft in Magic's 25-year history as eight players—many of them star pros and Hall of Famers—sat down to play with packs of Limited Edition (Beta).
The format was Rochester Draft, which differs from the more common Booster Draft format in that packs are opened one at a time. Players are given about 20 seconds to review the pack before they take turns selecting cards, also one at a time. The main difference between Booster and Rochester Draft is the amount of information available to all players—everyone knows which cards everyone else has drafted.
Below you can see what each player drafted from these Limited Edition (Beta) packs during this amazing event, including a few dual lands and even some pieces of the Power Nine!
Grand Prix Chiba this weekend will feature an Unlimited Edition Rochester draft, so be sure to check that event out if you're going to be in the area!
