Guillaume Matignon's Suspension Ends Today

Hélène Bergeot started her career with Wizards of the Coast in France in December, 1995; afterwards, she spent a few years in the European headquarters based in Belgium and eventually relocated to the Renton office. She is currently the director of organized play and trade marketing.

Continued investigation on Guillaume Matignon's suspension for the leak of the Magic: The Gathering New Phyrexia godbook has resulted in a reduction of his suspension from 3 years to 1 year. While Matignon was not entitled to play in certain sanctioned tournaments because of his knowledge of the set, he has been cleared of the responsibility of the leak. As such, the suspension related to this infraction ends today.
