The 2010 Magic Online Championship Series comes to a close when Season X ends with the downtime on October 13. If you haven't yet qualified for the 2010 Magic Online Championship in Chiba, Japan, and a shot at your share of $100,000, you only have three chances left: win the MOCS End-of-Season X Tournament on October 24, win the MOCS Player of the Year Championship on October 30 (if you qualify), or win the MOCS Last Chance Qualifier on October 21.

MOCS Player of the Year Championship
Players have been battling all year long in the Magic Online Championship Series and earning Qualifier points across 9 different categories: Standard, Block Constructed, Extended, Legacy, Classic, Specialty, Sealed Deck, Draft, and Overall. Now all the practice pays off. The top 50 players in the Overall Player of the Year Category, along with the top 10 players in each other category, will be invited to the Magic Online Championship Series Player of the Year Tournament on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM PDT (18:00 UTC).
The winner of the MOCS Player of the Year tournament will receive the 11th invitation to compete at the Magic: The Gathering Worlds Championships in Chiba, Japan and an invitation the 2010 Magic Online Championship, also in Chiba. For complete Magic Online Championship Series rules, click here.
MOCS Player of the Year Championship
START TIME: Saturday, October 30 at 11:00 AM PDT (18:00 UTC)
LOCATION: Premier Events Room
ENTRY FEE: None – Invitation Only
FORMAT: Standard Constructed
SIZE: Determined by Qualifiers
DURATION: A number of Swiss paring rounds determined by attendance. The "Top 8" will consist of 3 rounds, Single Elimination.
PRIZES: Prizes are based on final standings at the end of the tournament.

2010 MOCS Last Chance Qualifier
START TIME: Sunday, October 31 at 11:00 AM PDT (18:00 UTC)
LOCATION: Premier Events Room
ENTRY FEE: 30 Event Tickets

Magic Online will provide 6 Scars of Mirrodin booster packs for this event and 3 Scars of Mirrodin booster packs for the "Top 8" draft.
SIZE: 33 players minimum, 512 players maximum.
DURATION: Deck building plus a number of Swiss paring rounds determined by attendance. The "Top 8" draft will consist of 3 rounds, Single Elimination.
PRIZES: Prizes are based on final standings at the end of the tournament.

2010 Magic Online Championship
START TIME: The 2010 Magic Online Championship begins Thursday, December 9 and takes place over 4 days at the 2010 Magic: The Gathering World Championships. Events will be schedules so registered players can compete in both events.
LOCATION: Live at the Magic World Championships in Chiba, Japan
ENTRY FEE: None – Invitation Only.
FORMAT: The 2010 Magic Online Championship features several formats over four days:
- Thursday, December 9: Extended Constructed, 4 rounds, Swiss pairings
- Friday, December 10: Masters Edition IV Booster Draft, 3 rounds, Swiss pairings
- Saturday, December 11: Standard Constructed, 4 rounds, Swiss pairings
- Sunday, December 12: Standard Constructed Championship Finals, 1 round, single elimination
SCORING: Each of the first three events will award championship points based on the number of match wins as follows:

Each player's earned championship points will be totaled after the first 3 events. The top 2 players will advance to the Championship Finals on Sunday, while the remaining players' standings will be based on the number of championship points earned. DCI tie-breakers will be aggregated across all three tournaments and used if needed.

Participants must play on the Magic Online account that they used to qualify for the 2010 Magic Online and supply their own decks for the constructed portions of the event. Product will be provided for the Masters Edition IV draft.
