Quenchable Fire

Burn decks have been around since the beginning of Magic, and at the 2009 World Championships they reared their heads yet again. Championing the fiery red spells was David Howard, who managed to go 5-1 with his take on the archetype. One of the biggest innovations in his deck? Using Quenchable Fire. With few players playing lands that could produce blue mana, David got free burn from the Conflux card almost every time!
