With the Magic world's focus on Extended and the PTQ Honolulu season, times call for a look at Extended past. In 2007, French player Remi Fortier played a Tarmogoyf control deck featuring the powerful combination of Counterbalance and Sensei's Divining Top. With the enchantment in play, Remi could use the Divining Top to make sure he could lock out the majority of his opponent's relevant spells. He managed to win a one-of-a-kind weekend, but you can join Remi on the Pro Tour. To find a Pro Tour Qualifier near you, visit this link.
