Top Magic players around the world flocked to Strasbourg, France, and Columbus, Ohio, to take part in a huge Grand Prix weekend. More than 2,000 players shuffled up in the major events, but only two could be crowned champion. Grand Prix–Strasbourg: Saito Cruises to Block Constructed Victory

Tomoharu Saito's mono-red Greater Gargadon-powered deck was enough to put him in the books for a cool $3,000 and 8 Pro Points to slingshot him into the lead in the Player of the Year race.


Grand Prix–Columbus: Sadin Smashes with Hulk Flash

Nearly 900 players descended on Columbus with Goblins, Affinity, Threshold, mono-black, Slivers, and just about every Legacy deck you can name, but Steve Sadin piloted a Billy Moreno-designed version of Hulk Flash to victory.
