The 2010 Pro Tour season kicks off this weekend, and it's doing so in a familiar locale: San Diego, California! We're highlighting some of the big decks from that tournament location's hallowed past. Today we take a look at Jacob Van Lunen and Chris Lachmann's Sliver decks from 2007. The first (and thus far only) Two-Headed Giant Draft Pro Tour, the previous PT–San Diego saw Lachmann and Van Lunen win their first Pro Tour in tandem. How? By drafting all the Slivers they could find. With two players using them, each one became a massive threat! Homing Sliver even allowed Jacob to tutor for practically anything he wanted! The strategy blew the format wide open, and Jacob and Chris waltzed to the title of champion with seeming ease. Catch all the Draft and Standard action from Pro Tour–San Diego 2010 this weekend on DailyMTG.com.
