Samuele Estratti's Splinter Twin

The first Pro Tour in history to feature the Modern format has come to a close! Italian Samuele Estratti was the victor, and he got there on the back of the powerful interaction between Deceiver Exarch and Pestermite alongside Splinter Twin and Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. How does the combo work? Simply copy an Exarch or Pestermite with either of the red cards. The copy untaps whichever permanent you're tapping to make another copy, which lets you make another copy. Repeat as many times as you like, then attack with your army of tokens. For more about Samuele Estratti and Modern, check out the full coverage of Magic Weekend in Philadelphia.
