One of the breakout decks from Pro Tour–Kyoto, the Swans combo deck in Standard isn't quite like the Swan decks of old. Instead of killing a player in just one turn, the Blue-Red control deck is happy to plunk Swans of Bryn Argoll onto the board to slow attackers, then drop Seismic Assault to seal the deal. By pitching one land targeting the 4/3, its controller gets to draw two cards, potentially fueling an onslaught of direct damage.
