Now this is a brew. When looking at Legacy results, I first saw the creatures, and wasn't overly surprised. Four Deathrite Shaman and four Young Pyromancer is an interesting start, but not mind-blowing. I moved on over to the spells, and was instantly intrigued. Opposition? Intangible Virtue?? Battle Screech??? This is not your typical Legacy deck, and it has enough going on that it's definitely worth investigating.

At its core, this is a tokens-based deck, and even though it has a million little synergies, they all revolve around that. It's got Young Pyromancer and Lingering Souls as the main ways to make tokens, with a miser's Battle Screech in there for Quiet Speculation value. Pyromancer and Souls are each engines in their own right, so playing four of each does a good job in ensuring that the deck always has tokens to utilize.

Once it has all the tokens, it's got plenty of uses for them. Opposition is the main one, and a well-fueled Opposition can easily lock out most opponents. Intangible Virtue is a more damage-based backup, and Cabal Therapy turns tokens into disruption.

The card selection makes it all work, with Brainstorm and Ponder playing their normal role as smoothers, along with a sweet Quiet Speculation that can fetch Lingering Souls, Cabal Therapy, and Battle Screech.

Overall, this looks like quite the fantastical machine, and one that can do a lot of powerful things. The mana is likely its biggest weakness, as being four colors is certainly a cost, but that's something Deathrite Shaman is very good at dealing with.
