NOTE: Urza’s Saga becomes legal in ALL Legacy and Classic-based Constructed formats following the March 24 downtime. The Classic-based constructed formats are Classic, Tribal Wars (Classic), Classic with Vanguard, Prismatic, 100-Card Singleton, Pauper, and Freeform.
All appropriate Legacy and Classic format Daily Events, Premier Events, Weekend Challenges, and Queues will switch to Urza's Saga prize payouts after the scheduled downtime on Wednesday, March 31.
Urza's Saga Release Events begin after the downtime Wednesday, March 31 and will consist of four parts:
- Urza's Saga Booster Draft Queues
- Urza's Saga 64-Player "Top 8" Premier Drafts
- Urza's Saga "Top 8" Swiss Sealed Events
- Urza's Saga Release Events Championship
URZA'S SAGA BOOSTER DRAFT QUEUES
START TIME: Starting after the downtime Wednesday, March 31 until 10:00 AM PST (18:00 UTC) Friday, April 9.
LOCATION: 8-Player Draft room.
ENTRY FEE: 2 Event Tickets plus product.
PRODUCT: 3 Urza's Saga booster packs.
SIZE: 8 Players.
DURATION: Drafting and deck building time plus 3 Rounds, Single Elimination, or 3 Rounds. Swiss Pairings.
PRIZES: Prizes for Single Elimination events are based on place at the end of the tournament. Prizes for Swiss Pairing events are based on total match points at the end of the tournament. Each match win awards 3 points and each match loss awards 0 points.

START TIME: April 11, 11:00 AM PST (19:00 UTC)
LOCATION: Premier Event room.
ENTRY FEE: Free, Invitation Only.

Magic Online will provide 6 Urza's Saga booster packs the sealed deck Swiss Pairings rounds and 3 Urza's Saga booster packs for the "Top 8" booster draft.
SIZE: Determined by number of qualified players.
DURATION: Number of Swiss Pairing rounds determined by attendance. The "Top 8" will consist of drafting and deck building time plus 3 Rounds, Single Elimination.

ADDITIONAL PRIZES: All players who participate in the Urza's Saga Release Events Championship will receive 1premium foil copy of the prerelease Lightning Dragon.
Although players may have multiple accounts qualified for the Urza’s Saga Release Events Championship, players are not permitted to own more than one account entered in the event. Players are not permitted to have secondary accounts played by another person. If a player is discovered to have more than 1 account playing in a Championship before, during, or after the event, appropriate penalties will be applied (including disqualification from the event with no refund of product or event tickets).
Playing on another person's account, selling your account, etc. are all violations of the Terms of Service. If you play in these, win, and expect to get your prize, be very, very sure you are on your own account. We do not recognize "I and a friend jointly own the account," "It's my brother's account but he gave it to me," or similar. The only exception is an adult may authorize a single dependent child age 13-17 to play on an account that adult has purchased.
It will be the player's responsibility to make sure that they have been properly entered into this event and are able to join it PRIOR to the start of the Championship. If a player is qualified and is unable to join the championship, they will need to contact customer service for assistance.
For all Urza’s Saga Release Events, Wizards of the Coast reserves the right to modify, reschedule, and/or delete any tournament if, in its sole judgment, tournament integrity has been compromised by an unforeseen technical issue.
