February 9-11, 2007: Mike Hron Wins Pro Tour–Geneva 2007

It had been over six years since an American had won a Limited Pro Tour. But Wisconsin's Mike Hron turned that around with his virtuoso performance in Time Spiral Booster Draft.

The final match against Takuya Osawa was one for the ages, culminating in a rare Osawa misplay when he appeared to misread Spectral Force.

  • February 4-February 7, 1999: Mike Long takes down the Duelist Invitational in Barcelona, defeating Sturla Bingen in the finals. The scene was set for Rootwater Thief to enter the Nemesis set!
  • February 4-February 7, 1999: Kai Budde wins Grand Prix–Barcelona. Another time a Grand Prix run at the same time as the Invitational was won by a future Invitationalist!
