Longtime pro player Willy Edel has written in Portuguese in the past to support his Brazilian Magic Community. Recently, he was generous enough to write a detailed and excellent article on Naya in Standard, an archetype he's been working on for a long time and finished 2nd in Grand Prix Guadalajara with.

Domri Rade

If you have any interest in playing Naya, especially a slower, more honest Naya, rather than dedicated Human Aggro ("Naya Blitz"), I highly recommend reading his article.

Today's deck is a hypothetical build he suggests for an unknown field, but he strongly cautions against taking it as is and advises tweaking it after reading to your play style and local metagame.

Willy's deck strives to keep much of the aggressive power of faster Naya decks, while trumping them in combat with bigger and better creatures. Against controlling decks, he has card advantage from Voice of Resurgence and Domri Rade, as well as big blowout finishers like Thundermaw Hellkite, which attempt to make up for the fact that he comes out a little slower than the Blitz decks.

Overall, I'd expect this deck to be great against the smaller Naya and Gruul decks, which have been extremely popular lately, but to struggle a little more than they do against Reanimator, which isn't a deck you ever really want to give more time.

If there's a lot of aggro in your area and not a lot of Unburial Rites, I'd definitely suggest giving this deck a try.
