Last weekend featured a Limited Grand Prix double-header, where No. 2 Jérémy Dezani jumped ahead of No. 1 Reid Duke in the 2013-2014 Player of the Year race in Milan with his victory, and Mike Sigrist denied No. 11 Yuuya Watanabe a potentially record-setting eighth Grand Prix victory in Washington, DC.

While some of the world's top players assured their dominance in Theros Block Limited, aspiring pros continued to earn their invitations to Pro Tour Khans of Tarkir in the latest round of this season's Pro Tour Qualifiers (PTQs).
