Magic Online Super Qualifiers

As part of our initiatives to give you more ways to play at home, we wanted to provide options for you to play at the highest levels for competitive stakes. Therefore, in light of the changes to the tabletop Players Tour Qualifiers announced earlier, we're adding a new series of qualifiers to Magic Online to provide additional ways for players to compete and qualify for upcoming Players Tour events: Magic Online Super Qualifiers. These online events will run alongside existing Magic Online Qualifiers and will continue to invite players to Players Tour Series 2 events.

And in order to make the Super Qualifiers as exciting as possible, we've added more prizes! Players who earn 65th place through 128th place will receive 100 Play Points. These prizes are in addition to those previously announced. And, because we intend this to be a quality of the Super Qualifier events as a whole, we're retroactively adding these to events that have already concluded! Players who earned these prizes will have them granted before the end of this week.

Vintage Cube Until April 1

You asked, and we responded (or, rather, we asked, and you responded)! With some of us having some extra at-home time to fill, the Vintage Cube is back for two weeks starting tomorrow and running until April 1. This encore presentation is the same cube we ran back in December and January, so we don't have a change list to publish.

To make room for the Vintage Cube, we've moved the Invasion Block Flashback Draft to April 29, added Modern Horizons Draft for a week starting April 1, and delayed the start of the Modern Cube to April 8. We're aware that some Invasion Block fans may be disappointed by the change, so we'll explore some ways to spice up the event when it does launch.

Thanks, and good luck in your leagues.

Modern Horizons Draft April 1

For one week starting next Wednesday, April 1 at 10 a.m. PT, you can draft Modern Horizons. Drafts will include both Phantom and non-Phantom events. Phantom entry costs 10 Event Tickets, 100 Play Points, or 5 Modern Horizons Tokens, and non-Phantom entry costs 25 Event Tickets, 250 Play Points, 10 Modern Horizons Tokens, or 3 Modern Horizons boosters plus 4 Event Tickets.

ELD Redemption Ends March 25

Redemptions for Throne of Eldraine end this week on Wednesday, March 25. For more information on redemption, please see our Redemption Policy page.

Limited PTQ Saturday

On Saturday, March 28, there will be a Limited PTQ at 7 a.m. PT! The set will be Theros Beyond Death, and the event will cost 1 Red Limited PTQ Token. You can also join with 40 MOCS Qualifier Points. The winner qualifies for their choice of events in Series 2 of the 2020 Players Tour later this spring.

Reminder: Players already qualified for PT Series 2 cannot compete in these single-slot events.

Learn more about Players Tour Qualifier events here.

Modern PTQ Sunday

On Sunday, March 29, there will be a Modern PTQ at 9 a.m. PT! The entry fee is 1 Red PTQ Finals Token or 40 MOCS Qualifier Points. The winner qualifies for their choice of events in Series 2 of the 2020 Players Tour later this spring.

NOTE: Any remaining Red Limited PTQ Super Qualifier Entry Tokens must be used by April 5, the date of the last Magic Online PTQ Super Qualifier of this qualifying round. As a reminder, these Tokens can be used for either Limited or Constructed PTQ Super Qualifier events.

Reminder: Players already qualified for PT Series 2 cannot compete in these single-slot events.
