Working in R&D since '95, Mark became Magic head designer in '03. His hobbies: spending time with family, writing about Magic in all mediums, and creating short bios.

For a long time employees referred to Wizards of the Coast as “watzee”. This came from pronouncing the first letter in each word (WotC). Eventually, we realized that “watzee” was confusing to the public and started shortening Wizards of the Coast to just Wizards.
