Just forty-four players turned out for the last-chance Trial the night before the Grand Prix. The most-played decks were "The Rock and his Millions", Miracle-Gro and Junk, though they were just fifteen. They edged out Zombie-Go, Donate and Turboland. After that, it was a fruit salad of viable and semi-viable decktypes.

Two sets of three byes were handed out. Earning their precious beauty sleep were Jonathan Pechon, playing PT Junk, and Paul Rietzl, playing Miracle-Gro. They wisely chose not to play out the finals.
