GRAND PRIX BALTIMOREGENERAL INFORMATION
The Magic Grand Prix returns to Baltimore for the first time since 2012. Khans of Tarkir will descend upon the Baltimore Convention Center for some Limited action. Join us as we kick off the 2015 season with this amazing event that is sure to be the talk of the Magic community for years to come.
Each player will receive a commemorative Grand Prix Baltimore deck box, while VIP entries will receive additional exclusive swag. Players battling it out in one of the many side events available will receive a unique Khans of Tarkir branded playmat. This playmat features the artwork of a popular Khans of Tarkir card and was selected to represent the flavor of the set.
Nestled in the heart of downtown Baltimore, the Convention Center is a short walk to the world-renowned Inner Harbor and historic Little Italy. Surrounding this urban waterfront park are a number of family-friendly attractions and restaurants. The National Aquarium features more than 16,000 animals, from sharks to a giant sea turtle. Sports fans should be excited to know that the yearly Army-Navy football game will be held in Baltimore this very same weekend.
Entry into the Grand Prix event venue is free of charge.

Details of these services vary from event to event; please check the organizer's web site for specifics.

Baltimore is hosting a number of major events during the weekend of the Grand Prix, and because of that the city's hotels are either sold out or charging premium prices. The GP room block is at the nearby Lord Baltimore Hotel (www.lordbaltimorehotel.com), and the room block rate is $199/night with a minimum two-night stay. This room block will stay open until December 1st, or until it is full, whichever comes first. To make reservations in this room block, use code 1412GPBALT online or by mentioning the "Grand Prix Baltimore" rate when making your reservation by phone at 1-855-539-1928.
Since the room block is more expensive than we at Card Titan would prefer, we have decided to help all the players who stay in the official GP room block by offering a unique promotion: every person who books a room in the official GP room block will receive a voucher for a FREE On-Demand Side Event for each person staying in the room (maximum 4)!

Byes earned through Planeswalker Points are calculated using the Planeswalker Point totals from all reported events as of the Wednesday immediately before the Grand Prix. Points earned in tournaments held at the Grand Prix event site do not count toward earned byes at that Grand Prix.
Winners of a Grand Prix Trial tournament are awarded two byes in the Grand Prix that it feeds. Trial byes are not cumulative with other byes and do not pass down. Byes are not cumulative throughout the season or year. Byes do not pass down under any circumstances. Players who accumulate multiple byes to a particular Grand Prix tournament receive only the bye for the greatest number of rounds. For complete information about Grand Prix byes and their corresponding competitive season, please check the Magic: The Gathering Premier Event Invitation Policy.
