Top 8 Decklists of Grand Prix Brussels 2018

After fifteen rounds of Standard, with a total of 1,101 others eliminated, only eight players remained in the running for the fame and the fortune, the title and the trophy. To everyone's surprise, their decks included a scant eight copies of Goblin Chainwhirlers. Instead, the most represented archetype was Esper Control. Indeed, the three most accomplished players in this Top 8 all chose to run three Teferi, Hero of Dominaria and four each of Torrential Gearhulk and Vraska's Contempt.

Nils Gutiérrez von Porat's Sultai Gift

Thomas Mechin's Turbo Fog

Arne Huschenbeth's Esper Control

Panagiotis Papadopoulos's Red-Black Chainwhirler

Jérémy Dezani's Esper Control

Alexander Gordon-Brown's Sultai Midrange

Giordano Fagiolo's Mostly-Red Aggro

Guillaume Wafo-Tapa's Esper Control
