8-0 Decks of Grand Prix Copenhagen 2018

Posted in Event Coverage on June 10, 2018

When the dust had settled at the end of the first day here at Grand Prix Copenhagen, only seven players had made it through with a perfect record of 8-0 still intact: Jakob Kirkebjerg, Christian Aahlstroem, Love Rask, (10) Javier Dominguez, Markku Anttila, Lukas Blohon (pictured below, left to right) as well as Tobias Maurer (not pictured).

Although Chainwhirlers could be found in four, the decks these seven ran offered quite a bit of variety. Blue-Black Midrange, Esper Control, and White-Blue Approach all went undefeated, as did Mono-Red Aggro and three copies of Red-Black Chainwhirler.
