Drawing Severed Strands when we were dead otherwise.

Topdecked Severed Strands to gain life and win. Had two draws steps to hit it.

Ayers once broke his glasses in Round 1 of a tournament and had to play the whole day by only listening to his opponents.

Jacob making three copies of Murmuring Mystic with Quasiduplicate.

How did your team come together?
We came together via one of us being friends with another friend and I was picked up as a third.

What was the coolest play you made or saw on Day 1?
Playing Boros and going 6-2 with an aggro deck considering I’m usually a Golgari player.

What was the coolest play you made or saw on Day 2?
I set up a Find // Finality which allowed me to deal lethal with Moodmark Painter.

Chris and I went to middle school together. Max was a local player.

Surveil into Blood Operative.

How did your team come together?
Went to middle school with Matt, reconnected with Magic years later. We are in different regions now but this our third Team GP. Matt recruited Max as a third.

What was the coolest play you made or saw on Day 1?
I did nothing and my Dimir opponent ran out of cards and decked himself to clinch the match.

What was the coolest play you made or saw on Day 2?
DIdn’t play a Skyknight Legionnaire, opponent uses a removal spell to go for lethal and I used Justice Strike on Burglar Rats to survive at one, and then played the Skyknight for lethal.

Matt and I liked the same girl in middle school… we’re past that now. Max and I had never met until this weekend!

How did your team come together?
Longtime friends and testing partners. We also three-way chopped a meal last night so clearly it is destiny.

What was the coolest play you made or saw on Day 1?
A peeled Blazing Sargeant to pair with Wojek Bodyguard to steal exactly lethal.

What was the coolest play you made or saw on Day 2?
A clean three-for-one with Citywide Bust to swing a match.

Pete an I have Magic together for about 15 years. Rubin and I play video games together almost every night.

I won a game at one life with Thief of Sanity stealing a blocker every turn.

I ultimate Vraska, Golgari Queen against John Rolf.

Frank and I grew up together on Long Island. Rubin has visited us there multiple times where we’ve all hung out, went on walks to Dunkin and played Werewolf.
