Legacy is seen as one of the most skill-testing formats in Magic, and nothing demonstrates that better than the stacked Top 8 here in Louisville. World Champion Brian Braun-Duin led the way as the top seed, but No. 5 Reid Duke, Pro Tour champion Craig Wescoe and five other talented competitors also advanced to the Top 8 of Grand Prix Louisville.

What did you play this weekend and why? What was your swiss record? Sneak and Show. It's a consistent, unfair deck that has a lot of positive matchups.

What was the best deck you played against this weekend? Craig Wescoe's Death and Taxes deck.

What was the best play you saw made this weekend? I played around Vendilion Clique by setting up a Griselbrand on top so the Clique would draw it for me when they took my other one.

What was the most unexpected card or deck you faced this tournament? I played against Burn at 5-0. I died in a game with a Turn 2 Griselbrand in play.

What was the best deck you played against this weekend? Lands was the toughest.

What was the best play you saw made this weekend? I became the Monarch with Palace Jailer!

What was the most unexpected card or deck you faced this tournament? I was playing against Oliver Tiu, and thought he was playing Sultai. Then he fetched a red land used Lightning Bolt on my Mirran Crusader.

What was the best deck you played against this weekend? Sultai Delver. It's a hard matchup for Miracles.

What was the best play you saw made this weekend? Marit Lage hitting for 20 to become the Monarch.

What was the most unexpected card or deck you faced this tournament? Chandra, Torch of Defiance.

What was the best play you saw made this weekend? I saw too many good plays to name one. Maybe when I Vendilion Clique'd Oliver Tiu when he had a Leovold in play… oops.
