The numbers are in. We have dissected all the 210 decklists from the players on Day 2, and the result is exciting to say the least. Delver is the most popular archetype, with an impressive 16,6 per cent of the field. Among those opting to go with Delver, Temur and straight Blue/Red are the most popular with 12 players each, and 8 opting for the Jeskai version.
With 31 players, or 14,7 per cent of the field, Birthing Pod is the second most popular archetype. Quite the swing from Grand Prix Madrid a few weeks ago.
A close third is Scapeshift, with 28 players, or 13,3 per cent of today's field. Slightly more if you count the Red/Green version, which also has Primeval Titan, Through the Breach and Emrakul, the Aeons Torn as alternative routes to victory.
All in all it looks like Modern is still a very diverse format. And rumor has it one player is even running a Sliver deck today.
