With six rounds in the books, the metagame of the top tables is starting to shape up. I checked in on the top tables during round seven to see what's been winning. Let's take a look!

Blue/Red Delver continues to be a dominant force here in New Jersey. The deck applies quick pressure with Young Pyromancer, Delver of Secrets, and Monastery Swiftspear before controlling the game with countermagic and burn spells while keeping its hand filled with Treasure Cruise. There are significantly more copies of the deck than any other archetype at the top tables.

Gerry Thompson is cruising through his opponents in the Garden State.

Miracles has long been an established powerhouse in Legacy. The deck has only become stronger with the inclusion of Khan's of Tarkir. Dig Through Time gives the deck tutoring power and longevity that were previously unavailable.

It's no miracle that Reid Duke finds himself at the top of the standings coming into round seven.

Beyond that, the field seems extremely diverse at the top tables. Let's take a look at some of the insanity that's going down at the undefeated tables.

Goblins may not have been an expected entity this weekend, but there's still a copy undefeated. Things look pretty good for the little red monsters here.

There are still multiple undefeated copies of lands!

One, Five, Ten... Yep that's ten.

This may be the most depressing photo of all time for the red mages of the world.

This seems like a good second turn after your opponent already used a removal spell.

Elves are performing well in the hands of experienced pilots.

Trying to draw some cards? Try on some Chains of Mephistopheles!

Legacy is a wide open field, and there's still plenty of excitement to come here in New Jersey. Stay tuned to continuing coverage of Grand Prix New Jersey for all the exciting Legacy action!
