What did you play this weekend and why? Splinter Twin. I like being reactive but having a quick win in Modern.

What was the best card in your main deck and why? Twisted Image was surprisingly strong. I liked only having one Cryptic Command.

What was the best card out of your sideboard and why? Blood Moon and Keranos, God of Storms. They help make the matches where you can't combo better.

What was the most unexpected matchup you faced this weekend? How did that go for you? Doran, the Siege Tower Abzan. It's where I was able to cast Twisted Image.

What did you play this weekend and why? Affinity, because I've played it since it was in Standard.

What was the best card in your main deck and why? Cranial Plating, Arcbound Ravager and Spellskite. Two mana wins are the best wins.

What was the best card out of your sideboard and why? Ghirapur Æther Grid slew everything.

What was the most unexpected matchup you faced this weekend? How did that go for you? I lost on Turn 2 on the draw to Protean Hulk combo, but Grafdigger's Cage stole games for me.

What was the most unexpected matchup you faced this weekend? How did that go for you? Protean Hulk combo. I won with a timely Grafdigger's Cage.

What was the most unexpected matchup you faced this weekend? How did that go for you? Green-White Tron, it blew me out Game 1 with Path to Exile.

What did you play this weekend and why? Turbo Scapeshift because I was sick and didn't want to think too much. Plus I play it all the time.

What was the best card in your main deck and why? Commune with Lava. It was just Sphinx's Revelation.

What was the best card out of your sideboard and why? Obstinate Baloth. It came in against everything and it bought me many turns.

What was the most unexpected matchup you faced this weekend? How did that go for you? Corey Burkhart in the friendship matchup. He hexed me.

What was the most unexpected matchup you faced this weekend? How did that go for you? Mono-Blue Extra Turns. I won thanks to Splinter Twin on Vendilion Clique.

What did you play this weekend and why? Grixis Control. I couldn't find another deck I truly loved. Jace, Vryn's Prodigy and Snapcaster Mage are truly powerful spells.

What was the best card in your main deck and why? Kolaghan's Command and Jace. The looping and interaction between those cards is so good.

What was the best card out of your sideboard and why? Fulminator Mage. Locking out opponents on Amulet Bloom, Scapeshift and even Jund from killing you is really important.

What was the most unexpected matchup you faced this weekend? How did that go for you? Red-Green Scapeshift with Commune with Lava. I luckily watched as he drew mostly lands, and died to Snapcaster Mage and Fulminator Mage beatdown.

You are Jace, Vryn's Prodigy and just transformed into a Planeswalker. What are you flashing back? With five counters, a removal spell (or in a dream world, Enter the Infinite). With three counters, a Kolaghan's Command, getting Jace back.
